Empty Vase
November 22, 2008

The flowers I got you
Just sit and look beautiful
They drink their water
Soon it runs dry.

The flowers
that I once bought for you
That made me smile
And drank that water
No longer are there.

They withered away and died
They never made you smile
You never noticed the effort
You never stopped to smell the roses
You never saw me trying.

So I guess commenting it how its gonna happen huh? I always hope that your poetry would be happy :) But it’s still a lil sad. Its amazing though. I feel like one day you’re gonna have this ginormous book out full of everything youve ever written. It will be a masterpiece.

So how have you been? Your son must be pretty old now. Its crazy to think how life takes its turns. I hope he was the best thing to ever happen to you. Knowing you, Im sure he is.

Its good you’re still with Emma. It seems you finally found her (the one, I mean)

Let me know how you have been?
