Words of a Poet is my own personal blog where I hope to get intimate with you, the reader, and share my personal poems and thoughts.

I will also be adding poetry that I really like from famous authors. You will see such poems from Tupac, Jimmy Santiago Baca, Antwone Fisher, and more.

I will also allow my readers to submit their own poetry to our website. If you are a fellow Poet and don’t have a place to display your work this may be the place for you. All submitted poems will have the authors name, and a link to their own website if desired.

About the Author

My name is Matthew Henrickson and I am basically a poet, a blogger, and a father. Not as easy as you might think. My beautiful girlfriend and I have been together for 3 years. I just turned 21 and I have decided I want to write, I always have.

For the past year I have been trying to make a living, an income, and a life by writing. I hope that you like what you see here.
