Words of a Poet

Quick Fix
Dated November 18th, 2008

Writing is my release
And lately I can write pages
Inspired again to put it all down
To put down all the pain in my heart

Maybe just so someone will listen
Not with their ears,
But with their eyes.

My blood flows like ink
Down to the paper
Bleeding lines of words
Trying to stop the flow.

But I’m scared that this time
It will take more than just a band aid.
