In Memory of Adelina Cruz
A million times I’ve needed you, a million times I’ve cried.
If my love could have saved you, you never would have died.
Things I feel so deeply are the hardest to say,
My Dearest Mom, I Loved You in a Very Special Way.
If I could have one wish, one dream, that could come true,
I’d pray to God with all my heart for yesterday and you.
No length of time can take away my thoughts of you today…
It’s been four years, Moms, and I miss you as much today as the day you went away….
RIP Adelina H. Cruz – August 26th, 1924 to April 10th, 2005.
